Brick Robotics Level 2 (4-Session Express)
Children Use Educational Kits to Take STEM Learning to the Next Level
Brick Robotics Level 2 (Grades 3–5) taps into students’ curiosity with a blend of hands-on building, programming, and creative challenges in an energetic, supportive setting. Participants use brick components, motors, and sensors to design and build interactive models, then animate their inventions through block-based coding activities. With a mix of guided tasks and open-ended exploration, students discover the principles behind technology and learn practical ways to use it for problem-solving.
During the program, students engage in an array of hands-on projects that blend engineering concepts, creative storytelling, and computational thinking. For example, they might build a robot that can navigate a maze, invent a device that responds to different environmental cues, or assemble a basic automated mechanism. As they code their creations, students explore foundational programming concepts such as sequences, loops, events, and basic conditionals. These experiences deepen their understanding of how coding directs technology and empowers them to invent practical solutions.
In addition to technical skills, the program emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Students are encouraged to test their ideas, analyze results, and improve their designs through iteration. Working together in small teams, they practice communicating their ideas and learning from each other’s approaches to challenges.
By the end of the program, students will have developed stronger confidence in both building and coding while strengthening their problem-solving abilities. Brick Robotics Level 2 helps prepare learners for more advanced robotics and programming by giving them a solid foundation in STEM concepts while keeping learning fun, hands-on, and imaginative.
